Terms of Sale
Orders currently may be placed
online with our secure configurator, by phone
toll-free at 1-877-280-2495, or through E-Mail at sales@monsterboxpc.com. Our
office hours are Monday thru Friday, 9AM to 6PM, Pacific Standard
Time. We accept Visa/MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cashiers check/money
orders, and personal checks (personal checks require time to
clear). Only USA orders are accepted at this time. A $49
shipping and handling charge applies to each system order.
Additional peripherals will be assessed additional shipping charges, at
cost, to be determined at the time of purchase. Orders will be
shipped within 7-10 business days from receipt/verification of
funds--purchaser will be notified in advance of any delay to normal ship
times. Orders are sent ground shipping with insurance--2nd-day and
3rd-day shipping is available at an additional cost, to be determined at
time of purchase.
Warranty
MonsterBox PC warrants
that the hardware products it manufactures, excluding software,
documentation and similar items, will be free from defects
in materials and workmanship. The warranty term for parts is one year,
and for labor is three years, beginning on
the date of delivery, and applies to the original purchaser only.
Technical support questions are welcomed and unlimited to the original
purchaser for the lifetime of the product.
Damage due
to shipping the products to you is covered under this warranty.
Otherwise, this warranty does not cover damage due to external causes,
including damage
caused during return shipment, accident, abuse, misuse, problems
with electrical power, natural disaster, servicing not authorized by
MonsterBox PC, usage not in accordance with product instructions,
failure to perform required preventive maintenance, and problems caused
by use of parts and components not supplied by MonsterBox PC.
During the warranty
period, MonsterBox PC will repair or replace products
returned to
MonsterBox
PC's
facility free of charge for labor and parts for the term of the
warranty. To
request warranty service, you must contact MonsterBox
PC
within the warranty period.
If
warranty service is required,
MonsterBox PC
will issue a Return Material Authorization Number. You must ship the
products back to MonsterBox
PC
in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and
insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during
shipment. MonsterBox
PC
will ship the repaired or replacement products to you freight prepaid if
you use an address in the U.S. MonsterBox
PC uses, at it's sole discretion, new and reconditioned parts made by
various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and building
replacement products. Any additional purchases or upgrades
will not extend this warranty.
MonsterBox PC shall, under
no circumstances, be liable for any other damages, including but not
limited to special, incidental, consequential and other similar claims
whether based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence,
absolute or strict liability, or any other similar theories. Damages
excluded include but are not limited to: loss of profit, loss of
revenue, loss of data, loss of use of the hardware system, loss of use
of related equipment, cost of substitute or replacement equipment,
“down-time”, purchaser’s time, injury to property, and all claims
of third parties.
Obtaining
Warranty Service:
E-Mail the Technical
Support Department at support@monsterboxpc.com,
or call 1-877-280-2495. Have the invoice number and item
description ready.
If return shipment is required, back
up the data on the hard-disk drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in
the product(s). Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or
PC Cards.
30-Day Return Policy
MonsterBox PC, in addition
to the standard warranty, also offers a 30-day return policy on all our
systems and products. You may return the system if you are not satisfied
within 30 days of invoice date for a refund. Refund is only issued for
the sale amount, less 15% restocking, and not including freight. To
return any merchandise, a Return
Material Authorization Number needs to be obtained by
contacting our support department and providing the invoice number
and item description. The returned merchandise must include the Return
Material Authorization Number and its original
packaging, manuals, and accessories. All sales on software items are
final.
External Peripherals
If we send you a DOA (dead on arrival)
external peripheral, we will, within 30 days of invoice date, cover the
shipping for UPS Ground to send it back to us and send you a new one at
our cost. You
must call
within the 30-day period.
MonsterBox PC
will issue a Return Material Authorization Number. You must ship the
products back to MonsterBox
PC
in their original packaging. However, if the hardware
returned to us functions properly, we may charge a 15% restocking fee.
For any defective problems on all external peripherals after 30 days
from the invoice date, the customer has to contact the manufacturer
directly for warranty replacement or repair.
